The VisionWalk is the signature fundraising event for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, a national eye organization that has already raised over $450 million for the development of treatments and cures for retinal degenerative diseases. The Notre Dame VisionWalk is sponsored by the Notre Dame Biology Club, in an effort to fight for sight in our own South Bend community. We hope to involve businesses both here and outside of South Bend in the fight against blindness, to help provide care to the 10 million Americans currently suffering from retinal degenerative diseases. Our goal is to make the VisionWalk a fun and exciting event for the South Bend community, to maximize our impact in the fight for sight. At this year's event we will have plenty of excellent prizes to auction off, including autographed Notre Dame sports memorabilia, giftcards to local businesses, and free MCAT, GRE, and LSAT classes from Kaplan. In addition, we will be hosting a live musical performance at the event, with artist to be announced. If you would like to get involved in helping to fight for sight, we would love to see you at the VisionWalk
